Economic, Social, and Societal Policies
The transformation of our economies through digitalization is in full swing. The power of data and automation, combined with the global threats posed by increasing inequality and climate change prompts us to rethink what our economies will look like, and what the work of the future will be – for workers and employers. In close cooperation with policy makers, unions, progressive think tanks and economists, as well as social movements, we address questions around work of the future, skills development, transatlantic trade, labor relations, and a just transition in the U.S., Canada and Germany. In all of our programs, we develop and promote ideas that will lead us to more democratic, sustainable, and socially equitable economies with increased worker voices and strong unions.
